If you are interested in playing water polo please contact us at [email protected]. We would expect the player to be a competent swimmer capable of swimming at least 25 meters and be confident to tread water for 5 mins in the deep end of a swimming pool.
If you do not meet this criteria, please contact us and we will arrange a trial session, The coaching team will then advise whether they think it would be safe for the player to join in our sessions and we will discuss what programme we would recomend for your player.
Please contact us and we will arrange a trial session on a Friday evenning at Crown Pools for Inter and Junior Squads.
Players under 10 years old
We will consider players younger than 10 on a case by case basis. Please contact us and we will arrange a trial session,
Inter Polo Squad (recommended ages 10 to 14 years)
This group develops young players water polo skills in deep water and improving stamina.
Sessions
Tuesday 8:15pm – pm, 45min session at Crown Pools, Ipswich – Inter Squad Players and U16 Juniors only
and
Friday 8pm-8:45pm (during school term time) – 45 mins session – Crown Pools, Ipswich – Inter Squad during school term time
Junior Polo Squad (recommended age 13+ at coaches discretion up to 18 years old)
This group gives players further development in deep water and so development of skills to make them efficient and effective for longer periods.

Adult Polo Session
For adult players who want to train and play Water Polo for fun and fitness, we run an informal mixed session for adult players and our over 16 players.
